Adagio by Softrak is compatible with ACCPAC Plus.  The AR has both notes and alerts built in.  Notes can be permanent or dated.  Download an evaluation copy at www.adagiobysoftrak.com.

Additionally, linXsoft has an integrated collections program - linXcollect.
