The best company to use for both evaluating the best accounting solution for your company and providing the data conversion services is Silicon Digital Systems.
After spending considerable time and money on, well, not so qualified "computer systems" dealers. We were referred to this company by our CPA. They are a certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner (they do data conversions from Great Plains every week) as well being registerd developers for QuickBooks, Peachtree, Simply Accounting, ACCPAC and many others. They specialize in accounting systems technology. But more important they also have on staff actual "accountants". They have developed specialized software that converts all of your Peachtree to Great Plains data to any one of twenty different accounting systems.
They're most popular service is Great Plains to QuickBooks and Peachtree to QuickBooks. Usually they turn the completed data conversion around for us in about an hour.
