If you have purchased SAGE MAS90, your reseller should easily convert all your Quickbooks data for you by using the Visual Integrator (VI) module. If you purchase and register the VI module, you can do all of your own data conversion and imports, but I would stongly recommend that you NOT do this unless you have a strong background in databasing. The VI module has several data validation tools, but that is not a guarantee that you will not import garbage. Depending upon the thoroughness of your Quickbooks' records, your Customer, Vendor, Employee and even Inventory data might port easily enough from Quickbooks, but if you don't have your Chart of Accounts and balance imported correctly, you could inadvertantly create some real headaches and a few GL adjustments that could unnecessarily effect you bottom line. Your reseller should be able to help you, but if not, feel free to contact us at info@mandmsolutionsinc.com or contact SAGE Software at (866)308-2378 for another reseller near you.
