Please note this change is effective July 1, 2006.

 

  1. From the home screen of Simply Accounting by Sage, go to Setup, System Settings, Sales Taxes...
  2. Select the Tax Codes tab.
  3. Go to the description column for the GST code and change to 6%.
  4. Press enter and this will display the tax code details screen.

 

 

  1. Change the rate to 6 and click OK.
  2. Click OK again on the Sales Tax information screen.
