I'd say it all depends upon the number of employees, number of companies, employee knowledge and required payroll features (direct deposit, magnetic media reporting, union reporting, etc.). If you just went to MAS 90 recently, I'd recommend waiting until you're comfortable with using the software and have ironed out existing issues. You also have the option of installing the Payroll module in a test environment and trying it for a couple payroll cycles. With the exception of filing reports and taxes, you're likely to determine the internal demands of such an environment. Your reseller should be able to assist in this process.
