Freia chooses Exact e-Synergy
PWC advises Freia to use Exact e-Synergy to integrate business processes
Delft, May 10, 2006 – Exact Holding N.V. (Exact) announces that commercial education institute Freia has chosen Exact e-Synergy for the integration and optimisation of its internal business processes. After an intensive series of selection processes, accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers advised Freia to choose Exact e-Synergy. Approximately 250 employees will structure their daily working activities with the aid of Exact e-Synergy.

Freia will use Exact e-Synergy to integrate and centrally manage its complete market portfolio, which includes Intermediair Trainingen, Comenius, Horizon Training & Development, Horizon Interlingua, Fources and Academie voor Management. Exact e-Synergy offers the ideal mix of optimum flexibility for the individual parts of Freia and an integral insight for the central organisation.
The 250 Freia employees will deal with both the operational and commercial processes uniformly within one single integrated environment. For the outside world the different parts of Freia will remain distinctly separate. Also internally each part will have its own environment in Exact e-Synergy. The brand identity for each part is therefore optimally safeguarded, whilst the integration of business processes delivers considerable synergy benefits.
Freia chose Exact e-Synergy, based on an advice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, over a number of other solutions, including that of specialists in the sector. Rick de Rijk, Commercial Director of Freia, explains the reasons for the choice: “Freia offers organisations an integrated solution in the area of education. To achieve this we need a uniform management process. Exact delivers this right now and we are convinced it will continue to do so.”
Exact partner VCD Automatisering B.V. will take care of the implementation of Exact e-Synergy at Freia.
